"I am kindness"
"I am confident"
"I am unstoppable"
Do these sound familiar?
Positive affirmations are short statement that you say and repeat to get your subconscious mind reprogrammed and thinking along an empowering train of thought. They help you to define who you are. They also help you to overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts.
The language we use is critical to the life we live because we know that feelings are the language of the body and words are the language of the mind. This means that how we feel and what we say creates our future.
Positive affirmations are one way to start manifesting the life you want to live.
How do we do this?
1. Be clear on what you want
If you aren't clear on what you want in life, then the universe has a heck of a time trying to deliver it. So get crystal clear on your vision, your goals, why you want them and how it will feel to have those goals.
2. Know why this is important to you
Not only do you need to know where you are going, you need to be clear on how it will feel in that space. Why does achieving this goal matter. This has to be super important because you want to be feeling the emotions of achieving this goal. The trick is to feel like it has already happenend.
3. Be prepared to take the action
You must have a willingness to take action each day that moves you closer towards what you want. Make it achievable - something you want to do every morning because it makes you feel good and you want to be in that space.
For example -
You want a loving relationship with a caring partner. You may expand on this to say, I want a loving partner who is kind and respectful. Then think of this image with an elevation emotion on how it makes you feel with this partner, how do they expand your life?
Your affirmations may be:
I am worthy of love and deserve to receive love in abundance.
I love those around me and I love myself. Others show me love.
I attract loving and caring people into my life.
My partner and I are both happy and in love. Our relationship is joyous.
I am thankful for the love in my life and I am thankful for my caring partner.
I only attract healthy, loving relationships.
I am with the love of my life. We both treat each other with respect.
I happily give and receive love each day.
So to sum this all up - start saying your positive affirmations, they may not be true, but with repetition they sink into your subconscious mind, you really start to believe them, and eventually they become your reality, they become a self fulfilling prophecy and actually become true.
In love and light,
